Global and Local Impact
As a congregation we are involved both locally and globally in sharing the good news of Jesus in word and deed. We want to be biblical, strategic, missional, and both local and global in our activities. Core activities include education of the local congregation, evangelism/discipleship, church planting, transformational development, mentoring, leadership development, the ministry of peacemaking and reconciliation, and the stewardship of creation. Please contact the church office if you would like to become involved in this key area of ministry.
Each year, the Global and Local Impact group selects three Change the World projects to help children and adults alike share the good news of Jesus globally through practical projects which meet human needs and help to extend the Church. Core partners include:
Projects are chosen which relate to our core areas of geographical interest. Previous projects include:

As a congregation we also provide financial support to various Mennonite Brethren ministries in BC, across Canada and around the world.
We also support full-time missionaries serving with Arab World Ministries.
The Global and Local Impact group helps to implement Cedar Park’s Missions Policy, which has the following goals:

- To facilitate decision making in an intelligent and intentional fashion
- To ensure that our missions program and budget reflect biblical objectives, good stewardship, and current trends in missiology
- To have a clearly defined vision for ministerial staff, elders and church members
- To maintain a loving accountability among those involved with the missions program
- To clarify strategic/priority areas
- To educate and encourage intergenerational missional passion and involvement
